Dropped

Amanda said she went to bed last night feeling like something a little different was happening and when she got up everyone told her Xochi had definitely dropped. So this is good... another step closer. A good friend who's having her 5th baby said at least this should help get her further dilated.

I'm not feeling as impatient as I was a few days ago though. I'm definitely going to blame that one on hormones. But I am feeling super duper excited. During every single thing we do I think to myself, "Pretty soon Xochi will be with us when we do this!" Yay!

I also got a wise word of advice from my dear friend Amy. Some of you may not know this but Amy is also due with her 5th baby in June. Adia and their daughter Ava are only 2 weeks apart and it looks like Xochi and their newest little one will be about the same. It's so fun to raise families together with dear friends. Anyway, back to the advice. Amy and I were on the phone the other day and she said, "Well, I have one thing to say...." I was waiting for some wise, biblical revelation from the other end of the line..... "Watch lots of t.v."

Hahahahahaha!!!

Very wise words. And actually, it's been a great help to endure these last few days - especially when Justin is at work. Thank you, reality t.v.!!
