After swim lessons while passing a little black boy with dreadlocks in his hair:

Look Papa! Look! That boy has an octopus on his head!


The boy's mom let out an amused giggle. Ours was more of a guffaw.

(who uses the word "guffaw" anyway? Only nerds with writing teacher moms like me, I think)
