- 7:00 am - Woke up with Steele, put on Veggietales and started work on this breakfast casserole for our brunch at church. (the first breakfast casserole I've ever made - not much for casseroles - but it actually turned out really well)
- 9:40 am - Arrived at church 10 minutes late as Justin was getting off work this morning and I was flying sola.
- Sometime during church Justin arrived and boy, was I glad. Steele was extra squirmy today and Adia was continuing on with Screamfest '08. She and I have been butting heads lately. She's only 1 you ask? Trust me.
- 1:00 pm - Kids went down for naps. I wrote paychecks for my employees. I'm sure they'll appreciate that. They better.... Oh yah... I also did a couple days of Bible study since BSF starts back up again this week.
- 3:00 pm - Justin took the kids over to my mom's house to drop off her leftover breakfast casserole. My poor mom threw her back out again so Justin had picked it up and brought it to church for her. (since she already made it and everything). And what a hub - he also went to Home Depot and picked up a fluorescent light for the studio which has been out since early Christmas week but I was off and nobody told me - we were rockin' it out Club Style at Jazzercise. (well, at least in the front left corner) He also dropped off pay checks.
- While he was gone I practiced my Jazzercise routines for tomorrow and prepared flyers, posters and postcards for all our current and upcoming promotions that I should have finished before January. E-mailed them off to the printer. I called Justin when I was done and asked him to pick up Haggen-ese for dinner. So bad for me. I guess I'll start the "You" diet tomorrow....
- 6:00 pm - Justin got home and we fed the kids and put them to bed. Adia continuing with Screamfest...
- Sometime between 6 and 7 Amy called and we talked for a bit. Then she informed me that while we were at her daughter's 1st birthday party last night the kids and I were exposed (unknowingly, of course) to both roseola and a probable stomach virus. Woo Hoo. Here's praying with everything in me that we contract neither of them. She also gave me the recipe for this yummy soup that we had at her house on New Year's Eve. I've made it a personal goal to have more soup in my life. In fact, I have designated Sundays as "Sunday Soup" days. It's easy, yummy and I can usually put it in the crock pot so I can rest as much as possible on Sundays. Pay no attention to the highly rest-less activities I spoke of earlier. I'm thinking forward to putting a stop to that.... I digress.....
- After dinner Justin and I sat down to watch the last part of Amazing Race (which I used to love but haven't watched for last 2 or so seasons) while he tried to massage a huge knot out of my back. SUCH a good hub.
- And now? Well, now we get to pretty much the whole point of this entire post. Now? We are watching American Gladiators!! And in some strange, entertaining, unexplainable, wish-I-was-buff-like-that way... I am thoroughly enjoying it! Isn't that so weird? Go figure. Amy will think I'm a crazy loon. (who uses words like "loon", anyway?)
And, I would like to apologize for the lack of pictures in this odd post. I would have ordered our new Sony camera today but I'm waiting for my friend O.Shane to give his experienced opinion on that one. (hint hint)

You had a busier day than I did. With Fred and Jake coughing up lungs we've been staying home ALOT!
I had more to say... but Fred and Levi just burnt themselves...bad. Gotta get back to them. I mean they are fine, don't worry.

You sound fun, let's be friends!
I really, really hope you don't get sick!
Okay that was a lame post (from me). My burn victims ARE fine. But they now know that dancing in the kitchen with hot soup and hot popcorn doesn't mix. 1 burnt bottom and 2 burnt hands... enough said. :-)

Cutz,
you are the busiest girl I know!!! You can really pack it all in, can't you?

1. That breakfast casserole looks good. (And in the crockpot?! I've never done eggs in the crockpot.) Did you use sausage links? One reviewer suggested ground sausage and bell pepper. That sounded good to me.
2. Adia and Delaney must be chatting on the phone when we're not looking, because we've been experiencing much of the same Screamfest you've just described.
3. I am thoroughly enjoying American Gladiators as well. Wish I hadn't made fun of other people for being excited about it! Woops!
Jodi - I'm glad you mentioned the ground sausage because I forgot to add that I used Jimmy Dean ground sausage from Costco (which is SO cheap by the way) instead of the links. I think I'm going to do it that way the next time I make it - which will be on Adia's birthday since I decided we're going to have a brunch. It was so good. And also funny that you mentioned the green pepper because there was a casserole at church that had green pepper in it and I thought it was really good.
Adia and Delaney must have been talking on the phone the last two days... it continues. My theory, though, is that they get a little crabby just before a new stage. I did see Karen today though and she said she thinks it just girls. Probably a combo of both. I was encouraged as we talked and having been thinking myself that I need to remember to keep fellowship with her. I think that what she wants sometimes is to be left alone which makes her isolated and that's not good.
I am so long winded - good thing it's my own blog and I can talk all I want.
I may actually write a whole separate post about raising Adia. Hmmmm....
Hhmmm, maybe I need to think about a crock pot. We have a pressure cooker (which I love) but that's the opposite.
I love to hear about your days and can totally sympathize with the meeting-the-husband-there-cause-he's-
getting-off-work-in-the-morning thing. Will our lives ever be normal?
Well I would second a raising Adia post, as I'm always looking for additional wisdom on raising girls. Jack was his own challenge at that age because he was just so active and mischievous, but this whole girl thing makes me want to tear my hair out sometimes. They're so emotional!
My plan thus far has been to discipline her when her fits are defiant, and if she's just bonked her head or something I give her (what I feel is) an appropriate amount of comfort and then put her down and ignore the screaming until she stops. Girls, girls, girls.
