#4 I wash all my clothing according to what their labels say.
Well, if I'm being completely honest I sometimes don't "lay flat" but rather "drape over" the clothes line in my basement.
And if you get to wondering too much: yes, I wash all my Costco underwear in cold water and hang them to dry. I really do.

Until I lived on my own, I didn't even realize you were supposed to seperate the towels from the clothes and the whites from the colors and so on. I also don't think I ever read a tag on one piece of clothing. Not because I didn't do the laundry, I certainly did plenty of that.
Growing up my mom would simply toss everything into the wash, and made sure to fit in as much as possible. Now, my mom had seven kids of her own (the youngest four being born within five years). Plus there was a good supply of neighborhood children, that always seemed to be hanging around our house. lol. She also kept her house completely spotless and cooked everything from scratch. So, I'm guessing she just decided to cut corners on the endless loads of laundry. haha.
Needless to say, I don't do my laundry in the fashion my mother used to. Although, I would love to find the time to cook everything from scratch like she did. ha.
I'm for certain that this comment is longer than your blog. You just got me to thinking about how funny it was when I realized that most people don't just "cram" a bunch of laundry into one load, and wash everything the same way no less.

Okay, so in HONOR of you I did wash (for one day) all my clothes according to their directions. So, my question to you is this. If you have clothes that say 95% cotton 5%spandex wash in cold water lay flat to dry. Then one that says 95% cotton 5% spandex wash in cold water tumble dry low.... do you still follow directions or do you change your methods??

Okay, what do all the little symbols mean? bucket with water and a dot in the middle? A triangle with lines going thru it? the dryer and iron I get but what are the rest???
