The Funny Thing About Me Is...

#3 I Read Manuals From Cover to Cover

When my husband asks me how something in our home works I usually say to him, "Did you read the manual? 'Cause if you had read the manual you would know that. Here give it to me... I read the manual."

*Just to assure you - my husband and I joke around with each other a lot. I say this in the most tongue-in-cheek, jovial way possible. Even though it is true. Long live manual readers!! (And they will live longer. 'Cause they'll be the only ones who'll actually know how the defibrillator works.)

Well, Fred actually saves the manual in a file drawer, after he reads them. I'm positive we have manuals for things we've gotten rid of! I'll admit I used to laugh at him but it's come in handy more than once :-)

Me, I'm a hands on person. Who needs a manual when you can push buttons!!

Oh - I do that too. They're all in 3 ring binders labeled "studio", "home", etc.

A new sale? I'll have to go and check! Thanks!

Ok, I save the manuals too. Funny though because I dont normally read them but you just never know when you may need it. I do go through them every once in a while to get rid of the old ones.

I also save manuals, but have become more adept at knowing which to throw away and which to keep. Still, I'm too disorganized, which is irritating. I should either be hot or cold, not lukewarm. However, most of the time I don't actually look at the manuals I save, preferring to Google them for their .pdf formats online.

Hey, thanks for checking out my blog. I did the hats using a round looms that you can get at Roberts. They are sooooo easy! Good luck!

Hello gang

So I also keep all my owners manuels and keep them in a folder labeled owners manuels in my file cabinet. I do go through and throw out old ones as needed. I too am a hands on person but want to know what buttons to push :-).

Cute family pic Cutzi

You are hilarious because you thought of this line: "'cause they'll be the only ones who'll actually know how the defibrillator works."

What. Watching ER during my college years and Grey's doesn't qualify me to bring someone back?

You are hilarious!!! In my house if it requires a manual it's my job, I do most everything but the heavy lifting. :)
