So to answer your questions - Rebecca, you were not the only one who wondered this...
No, they didn't flush the passes. That would have been funny though. I just wanted to include both pictures in my post and at the last minute thought it was awfully clever of me.
I was on the phone with a friend I don't know very well. When I heard the kids giggling in the bathroom I thought to myself, "I'll take care of whatever it is later." I didn't want to interrupt the conversation.
Then all of a sudden it was escalating. So I excused myself from the phone and walked into the bathroom to find this. I wish I could have gotten a video. Adia was making a wave pool out of the toilet bowl.
My guess is that Steele had to go and then they were just standing there looking at it and thought, "Wow! That would be fun to splash in." So they did. My specific evaluation is that Steele may have told Adia it would be fun....
And you should know - they were both disciplined for it. After I took the picture. Mixed messages? Nah! I wasn't upset - but they know they're not supposed to play in the toilet. I actually thought it was pretty amusing.
And for you germ phobes - after discipline, they immediately went into the bath.
Grammy says, "Pee is pretty sterile, but I wouldn't want to drink it (or wash my hands in it)." On the other hand you, my oldest daughter, have an interesting fingerpainting story to tell. Do you remember (of course not) the day of your first birthday? I joyfully entered your room singing the "Happy Birthday" song and you were involved in a little monochromatic graffiti on your white crib. Brown is not a nice color early in the morning. I guess what goes around comes around.

That made me giggle.
Thanks Cutzi!
That "water" in the toilet looks suspiciously "yellow".
Looks at their expressions!!!
Priceless.
Ha Ha!
Noooooo.....
Gross.
(But how cute are their ski passes?)
oh my..that is my worst fear...skiing and the toilet
I think this post begs the question: Did the ski passes get flushed down the toilet?
I mean that's what I thought but no one has said anything like that in these comments...
I'm just hoping that they didn't...
Okay. Checking the photo again, it appears that some one has been doing some splashing, possibly?

Ha!
If you click on the photo, it looks like Adia got a "swirly". Also, the look on her face is PRICELESS!!!! "GULP"!
"Why are they standing next to the toilet?" Ella asks me. :)
Do you know what I loved? Being able to tell them the funny story and THEN also tell them that they were diciplined. :)
