We were hoping to get a good family picture for the front of our new adoption profile - unfortunately I'm not certain I like any of these well enough. I'm finding it is near impossible to get both my children to smile at the same time. And Miss Adia... well, she is generally a pretty obedient little girl but she will not look at me for a picture! If she does happen to look at me, she'll rarely give me a smile. Little stinker.

Pumpkin Patch
I've gotten a little spoiled with Justin's job. He often has days off during the week so we rarely have to go places on the busy days. Grocery shopping, the library, the mall, COSTCO! Saturday was such a beautifully sunny day though, so despite my annoyance at feeling like one of the "masses", we decided to go to the pumpkin patch. I searched on-line for nearby pumpkin patches - we considered hopping on a ferry and heading to Oak Harbor for something a little different. In the end, though, we settled on our own Stoney Ridge farm. It's beautiful and quaint... and since I've decided that I don't need to grumble about the fact that they charge for every. stinkin. little. thing. - I'll let pictures say the rest.

Cute!!! You look especially pretty in the first family pic, and I love the ones of Steele in the field. Did someone Photoshop those for you? Love 'em.
Those are my little pumpkins - the cutest in the patch!
Love those hats! Ava just outgrew hers :(
And w/ the smiles... they are there when you press the button, but gone when the picture is taken.
Great pictures though. Love the blue sky.
So stinkin' cute!
Cute, cute, cute! You and Justin look awesome in all the pictures. But you are right about deciding which ones give you the highest ratio of visible joy!
Love the John Deer sweatshirt with the brown vest. Cute manly boy!
Those family photos are adorable--but I see what you mean about the smile coordinating!
I used to have a grey turtleneck sweater like the one you're wearing, and I miss it! I think my sister was trying to be helpful and threw it in the dryer. C'est la vie. . .
SO! SO! CUTE!
I love the picture of you all on the green chairs. I remember when Olivia was Adia's age. She was the exact same way in front of the camera!! xoxo Christine
