My 2.5 (or so) mile Run

I may or may not have used an expletive under my breath when Maple St., which was my 1.25 mi. marker, was nowhere to be found.

I also may or may not have used the same expletive when, after I finally turned around realizing Maple St. was nowhere to be found, I found it.... another .25 mi. back.

And finally, I may have used the same expletive (again, under my breath) when the old man in the green car making a left turn didn't see me and almost hit me.

Running. Not for the faint hearted. Or air headed.

You're almost to 5k! Good for you! I'm still progressing through the program at my exceedingly slow pace. Life got in the way of doing a full week of run 5 min/run 8 min/run 5 min, so I'm staying at that level another week. I'm signing up for a 5k in June, so life is going to have to calm down and quit interfering for awhile.

Way to GO Cutzi! Ya, you gotta watch out for those cars. I thumped the palm of my hand on the back of a minivan just last night; he turned while we had a walk signal. Sheesh.

Hang in there Michelle! I was pretty surprised that even during that crazy week when we were all sick I didn't get off track too much. The first run or so was a little hard but then I got back into the swing of it.

And thanks Suzy. I'm running a 5k in a couple of weeks. My first ever!! I cannot tell you how many times I think of you and chuckle at myself.... running 2.5 and dying at a pace of 10 min/mi. and here you're running marathons....
