Well, I won't delay any news with stories... still no Xochi.
There wasn't any room at the hospital yesterday so we're going to try again today.
I told Amanda she needed to go into labor last night just to show 'em what for but nothin'. I slept in my bed at my hotel all night long.
I wish I had time to tell you all the funny, wonderful, nerve-wracking stories from the trip down but I just don't. Amanda and her mother with be here to pick me up soon and then we're off for a doctor's appointment at 10:30.
I probably don't really need to ask you all this but....
PRAY!!
Pray that there's room, pray it all goes quickly.
I'm doing fine but I think if I have to stay any more than a couple more days I'm going to start missing my little family. A LOT.
Steele and Adia are doing fine at Grammy and Grumpa's house - having a blast.
I feel like I'm just rambling on whatever comes to mind.
I'm doing fine. Really. It's just kind of weird. Not like a vacation, but not really here for anything yet. So it's like I just decided to fly down to California and stay in a hotel room for the night.
I got a phone call, literally just as I was getting on the plane, from Amanda's mom saying they weren't going to induce her yesterday and I just thought to myself, "Well, Lord. You know that I'm going down today. You knew this wasn't going to happen today. So it's all fine. I'm right where I should be, right when I should be." So thankful for that assurance.
Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. It truly means so much to me. I am so excited every time I read a new comment on my blog or facebook. It helps to know I have the troops behind me!
I hope to bring you some sweeter news soon!

I'm praying! And I'm checking here for updates every chance I get!
Ack!That has happened to me toooo! (No room!) I hope she comes today! Praying!!!
I've been checking your blog like a mad woman!!! Fingers are crossed, prayers being said!

Oh Cutzi,
Nothing like some more time for your nerves to fray... (not that they are!).
I had to be induced for one of my kids, and things weren't progressing very fast. The hospital got busy so they "turned me off" and sent me HOME because they needed the bed.
I had to wait a couple of days and then come back.
So I have sympathy for you :0)
Praying it's SOON,
Julie
PS And did all the paperwork get handled?
Here's to hoping that last night was your last full night of sleep for a while!
Quick update for Cutzi's friends -Amanda is scheduled to be induced TOMORROW at 7ish a.m. So another night in the hotel room for Cutzi. She's doing okay though. She's hanging out with Amanda today and they might try some "labor inducing" tactics themselves!
Justin picked up Adia and Steele from my house this morning, so all is well on this end!
Well I know why God allowed you to come before Xochi was actually coming. It was so that we could have a fun, adventure-filled day together. Works for me! When will we ever get a chance to spend that much time together again, WITHOUT KIDS? Baby can come now.
Oh, that anonymous was me, Kathy Guerrero. Sorry.
We are praying!!! And by the way...how absolutely adorable are you in this picture you posted?!
Im having goosebumps right now...I bet your a mama sooner than you think!!!

You do look super cute in the pic! You can see the excitiment on your face.
Do enjoy the last full night of sleep. This isn't your first rodeo, so you should know what lies ahead of you.
I will be praying for a safe, speedy delivery! Looking forward to the big news!
Oh man! Alrighty, we're praying. Thanks for the update, Leslie.
Praying for lots of good moments to sweeten how much you must miss Justin and the kids.
Okay, let me just get this out of the way first: CUTEST HOODIE I'VE EVER SEEN!
Now: I love it that you had that assurance. God knows exactly when little Xochi is going to arrive. We're all praying TODAY, of course... but for whatever reason He wanted you there early, and I love that.
Come soon, sweet Xochi! I cannot wait to see a picture of that sweet brown baby girl!
