Two weeks later we received sweet Adia. (In case you've ever wondered - Adia is a Swahili word that means "gift from God") (And also in case you've ever wondered - it's pronounced "Aideea")
For the last 9 months our two families have been having a ton of fun with these beautiful girls. They are surrounded by a squad of rowdy boys who occasionally will pause, sweetly, to give them each a kiss on the top of the head.
After seeing Adia looking so adorable in her little pumpkin hat I definitely thought Ava needed one too. Equally as cute, don'tcha think?

Oh good! The world gets to see the cute hat you made AND my sweet girl. I love it.
And I love raising our girls side by side.
You are such a good friend. Ava and I are super thankful for our pumpkin hat! My favorite color and one of my favorite things!
Pleased,
Amy
For the record, everyone did *not* think Amy was having another boy. I was SURE she was having a girl, thankyouverymuch. [Having said that, I was sure Ethan was a girl, too. And he is clearly. Not.]
Darling hat. I saw it in person today. What a little gem! :)

I am now envisioning a photo of three little pumpkin heads. Miss Adia Moon sandwiched between her two best buddies. Perhaps to be taken the week before Christmas.
Soo cute!
Look at her eyes!
you MADE that?

Darn it, Cutzi!
I'm now starting to seriously consider the green wallpaper!!!! I had picked something else, but today I taped them all up on the walls and I'm thinking.....
