More Fashion 911

We were invited to attend a "semi-formal" banquet tonight to help raise money for our local pregnancy clinic. The last time we went I felt a little too formal so I decided maybe I ought to funk it up a bit tonight.

What do you think?

Vintage Dress with
$10 thrift store cowboy boots?

I purchased the dress over ten years ago - one pair of Spanx later
and I was able to get it over my thighs! Mwah! Love you Spanx!

Close-up of the lace/neck-line

As usual, I'm stumped on accessories.... am considering a flower in my hair? Perhaps just plain pearls?

Any ideas? I'm really visual - links with photos of ideas would help.

Thank you! You're all just as supportive as Spanx... just in a different kind'a way.

so cute!!!!!

If it's semi-formal, I probably wouldn't even add a necklace. The so much great detail that I think you'd be good.
BUT....I'm not super fashion girl, so that should be noted.

I think it's darling AS IS.

I'm hopeless at fashion, Cutz, but love to be one of your "supportive as Spanx" friends!

Are you going to be warm enough? You might not want any accessories when you add a sweater or something. You look great :D

Big hoop earrings, maybe a bracelet, but no necklace, I'm thinking. Very cute! And I want the cowboy boots.

I love the outfit! Maybe hoop earrings, or bracelet, like suggested above.

LOVE IT! And yes, yes, yes for the flower in your hair! I've never tried Spanx - they sound like little miracle workers... :)

I think no necklace..the neckline is kind of its own thing. And WOW...stunning! Love it with the boots. Bracelet maybe? And thin headband?

i just wrote this on your fb, but throw on some colored tights. any color. especially with it being a vintage dress, colored tights would be a killer.
