Ahh.... I love new books. Love them.
Today I received
this one
and
this one (with a different cover though, which is interesting to me...)
and
these ones
along with a batch of
these (made by non-baking hubby - they were DEE-lish!)
for my birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Cutzi!
I love getting books for gifts, too. There's nothing like opening up a gift and finding a book... knowing there's hours and hours more of gift just waiting for you! :)
Let me know how you like the Weekend Sewing book.

Oh. One more thing:
A blog I read:
http://houseonhillroad.typepad.com/my_weblog/
recently got that Weekend Sewing book, too- and has been reviewing some of the patterns and showing her creations on her blog.
Just in case you're interested!
Happy Birthday Cutzi!! Hey, just curious, how long have your been knitting. I want to learn how to knit and have found someone to teach me...just wondering how long it will take me to actually make something besides a potholder. xoxo Christine
Happy Birthday!!!
I almost bought you a cookbook or a knitting book too. But then I couldn't find one I liked so I got you something else. So I am glad you are covered in the book department.
Glad you had a nice birthday friend!
Happy BIrthday!!!
Happy birthday Cutzi!!!
Ah, we're almost birthday buddies... mine's today (21st). 33 - I can't believe it! I put Weeekend Sewing on hold from the library but they haven't even gotten it yet, so it may be a while. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about it and Weekend Knitting! Have a great weekend!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Cutz!!! (One day late.)
I love getting books for gifts too. I always put a bunch of books on my Christmas or birthday wish lists, and they're always the items I most hope I'm getting.
I've been eyeing the Little House set on Amazon too. When do you think you'll start reading them to your kids? Do you think Steele would be ready soon?
Happy belated birthday, Cutzi! Will you let us know how you like Weekend Sewing? I love Weekend Knitting (my copy has a different cover, too). I remember reading Little House in the Big Woods with my dad by the light of the Christmas tree when I was in kindergarden; we took turns reading paragraphs as part of our reading lesson. I hope your kids enjoy them as much as I did.
happy birthday, I know I m late, so sorry..
