Help!

I'm going to a wedding tonight with my grandma. For some reason, I always see a wedding as an opportunity to buy a new dress. Lo and behold, while at Target yesterday, I found a cute little black number. I thought to myself, "A pair of red wedge heels sure would look cute with this." In an epic and monumental moment - I walked into Famous Footwear and found just the thing - on sale for $20. A fashion miracle! Since we all know that the exact thing you're looking for fashion-wise is usually the most expensive.

Here's where you come in - I need some help with accessories. My mom suggested one of the red dahlias I made for Mother's Day. I think it looks cute but am not sure if it's too much with the ruffle? My other thought was just white pearls and pearl earrings. I also have some fancier black glass vintage jewelry. What do you think? Any other ideas? I'm going into town today and could look for something more. I'm leaving home at 5 pm PST - so post up!

Pay no attention to the make-up-less bedhead.
Pay close attention to the cutie pie smiling in the bottom right-hand corner.

Close-up of ruffles.

Sassy red patent leather shoes.

I think it's perfect. I would just add hoop earrings...but that is my answer for everything.

Ohhhh!! Good call on the hoop earrings. Gold or silver? Big? I never think about hoop earring - THIS is why I posted!

Cutzi,

Disclaimer: I'm hopeless at fashion.

But you always look cute. :D The red and black look great on you. Don't add anything more. Earrings... small. Less is more (and big can easily look ghetto/trashy - which is SO NOT YOU!)

Just my two cents, and probably worth even less.

LOVE IT! It seriously makes me want to run to both stores and buy exactly the same thing.

I think 1) add earings. 2) no flower -too much with the ruffles.

But you could add a necklace like this:

or

falling below the ruffle like this:

(p.s. I always like this character's accessories :)

or leave the ruffle alone.

I adore the shoes.

Is Xo crawling?

I love the shoes and the red dahlia ties it all in. I am also all about the big hoops. BIG. As far as gold or silver I would copy what my wedding ring is. Mine is gold so I always do the gold route. Have fun, Oh and red lips are also a must!

My vote:

But first: you're adorable, as is Xochi!

Keep the flower. It completes the red and it's cute.

I'd skip the necklace altogether b/c I think the neckline of the dress is cute enough and it would be too busy to add more.

Earrings, yes. But nothing too flashy, I don't think. Something subdued and classy? I think that's a chunky bracelet I see on your wrist and that's perfect?

Have fun!

Whoops. I didn't mean to add the question mark to my "...and that's perfect" comment. I love the bracelet. I'm not asking, I'm telling you it's perfect. :)

(For what any of my opinions are worth. I think you're the go-to fashion expert, here. So whatever you think looks cute, I'm sure you're right.)

Cutzi, Love the dress and the shoes!! Good score you little diva!!

I would go with the chunky bracelet, no necklace or flower and some hoop earrings . I think the ruffle adds the perfect touch , anything more is too much;-)

Now you're going to have to decide based on all of these fashionistas lending their opinion:-)
Have fun...you look adorable even with the bedhead...Xochi adds just the right touch!
